Ordered my sky to be built 1 week ago

Ok the invoice for my car came a few days ago but Ive been so busy with work or I would have posted it the day of hearing of it. April 24th is the delivery date on my Midnight blue Redline. Im very excited since that is less then 2 and 1/2 weeks from now. Im a lil nervouse cuase I have no carport or garage here and im looking to move for that reason. I might buy somthing to cover it up with so no lil kids kick a ball into it or scratch it. Any one got a recomandation on a car cover?

Very cool! Congrats! The long wait is almost over. If your moving to a place with a garage or carport, I'd just buy a cheap car cover from some place local until then. I guess it depends on how long you think you are going to stay where you're at. I know someone posted selling a car cover that came from Saturn. I don't know if they sold it or not.

Hello everyone,

Just joined the forum, glad to hear that everyone was in the same boat as me waiting and wanting.

I ordered a Black on Black with Black leather on August 25, 2006, just arrived at the dealer on Tuesday April 10, 2007 delivery should be Thursday. But of course they are now calling for a wet snow storm on Wednesday night into Thursday...may push deliver back a day or two.

I will keep up to date and post some pic's or a link when I get my baby.

I saved close to $3,000.00 on my sky. MSRP was $30365.00 My price after my fathers retired discount $ $27,735.23 . I got a my vin# and every thing in hand with status:sold Financing begins tommorow. Im throwing 15k down so im not worried. Im just so freaking happy that this is happening. I hope every one has as much luck purchasising as me:) Peace to you all and ill be uploading pics asap if this forum allows it. Thanks to every one here including Mr. Admin

I have a good friend who saw his first Sky last week. He started lookiing on dealers lots this past weekend.
Monday AM he saw a red Redline (automatic) in a dealer's showroom, wrote a check and had the car delivered that afternoon. The salesman never mentioned a waiting list. It may have been that no one was waiting for an automatic.
