Here is my story, one grand deposit last of May, allocation on September 19th, car built the week of October 3rd-, Car lost in shipping 2-weeks in Chicago rail yard. Today at 5:00pm on 11/14/2006 I will pick up my midnight blue red line with tan top tan/leather polished wheels and monsoon stereo.
So all of you that just put down your deposit welcome to the waiting room

To make it all more interesting 3-different preliminary Workbench numbers and one general manager no longer with dealer.

No hassle from Dealer, got the MSRP price before the increase back in September no add on's all went very smooth. Now about the weather Mother Nature is mad at me, yes we need the rain, but does it have to rain the day I pick up my car, even better starts to rain the minute I pull out of the showroom  Positive note is that the car did not leak!
After reading all the stories on the other forums about how the Sky's hydroplane easily and the R/L has summer tires only not all season. So I am suppose to drive below 65, vary speeds, no cruise, no hard stops for the first 500 miles, fine guess mother nature is just making sure I listen.
Only 25+ miles to my home and WOW I am in awe. It was very quiet, very responsive, and the clutch compared to my 06 Corvette was very similar in fact, the car drove much like the corvette. The one time on dry payment I got on the gas and the turbo kicked in WOW we now own two muscle cars. Still raining today car pooled left a truck in the gated parking lot yesterday but tomorrow clear and 50 degrees, well at least I can drive the Sky to work, maybe top down on way home, maybe :P
