Dealer installed "Suspension Kit". Has anyone heard of such a thing?

I was charged $2995 for this on top of the MSR price. Now after reading more about the suspension that comes standard with the Red line series, I wonder if I got taken for a ride by the dealer.

Before I go back to the dealer and get in a fight, has anyone heard of such a thing?
Sharpcookie,
It was 3 months ago since I searched the internet for our new Sky and honestly I don't remember exactly all the addresses (there were many!) I tried. I know I started with a general 'Google' search for Saturn dealers and I think 'Auto Trader' gave me the best results. I did contact a couple dozen different dealers, but your car is definately out there!
Start searching it is actually a little fun. Remember you will have to pay 'list' unless unless you settle for an 07 leftover- there are some around.
Good luck,
Before you order a new Sky and get screwed around waiting forever, search dealers on the internet!! There are many cars avialble if you are willing to travel a little. The prices are all the same (List). Last month I found and bought a 2008 Red Line exact color I wanted etc. All I had to do was travel a few hundred miles out of state. - NO PROBLEM!

Whenever I let off the gas pedal quickly, the turbo blow-off valve on my Sky produces a short but very audible whistle that sounds just like a brake squeek! To me this sound is embarrasing and I believe all the turbo's are doing this. I have complained to my dealer but they just say it's normal. I would at least like to change the type of noise.-There are different aftermarket blow-off valves available but I can't find anything for the Sky turbo. Does anyone have any thoughts or info on this?
Thanks, Greg

Well, I went ahead and put on the Red Line turbo exhaust system from Saturn. The fit is perfect (as it should be) and installation simple. Very nice sound but not too loud.- The stock system is too quiet for a performance vehicle!! Also, definately a few more horses can be noticed. The only drawback is the system "ain't cheap". Try negoceating with your dealer on this item.
My recommendation to any of your readers that wish to deal with Roseville Saturn in Sacramento is they don't. Due to the fact that the Sky was a new model and limited selection, we discovered our window sticker hidden under layers of paperwork in the glove compartment and found hidden costs after the initial sale of our 2007 Sky.
The car is wonderful, the service department has been great, but the sale portion of the organization is really into price gouging. As I have mentioned in as many sites as I can, over 10,000 dollars of extra charges surfaced beyond what was supposed to be listed in our original order.
Keep in mind we ordered this car with the understanding of specific charges. The quotes were based on listed items we discussed before hand. After acquiring the car we discovered charges for the same thing twice, charges associated with items we did not receive, and charges beyond the market price more than 500%.
In short, we're extremely dissatisfied with the dealership and recommend no one shop for a new car at Roseville Saturn.
I'm starting the process of ordering my 2008 Redline and noticed the dealership add-on charges with after the factory costs. Does a car cover for $895.00 seem a bit extreme. The listed cost in Saturn parts shows the same car cover at $55.00 dollars.
Through your dealings have you noticed the same when getting detailed information on the after market charges?

I have a '00 Mustang GT convert that I have used RaggTopp cleaner and protectant on a number of times. I never masked off any of the glass or paint and haven't had any problems. Of course, I only use it prior to claying and waxing just in case.
